Dr. Allison Gould
Ally has been working as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist since the Summer of 2017 after earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont. She enjoys working with pre- and post-operative patients, athletes returning to sports, geriatrics, pediatrics, and pelvic floor patients. Since graduating, she has accumulated over 100 hours in continuing education courses that span her diverse interests; ranging from developing manual skills, to further exploring kinesiology and pelvic floor education. Most recently, in June, she obtained the distinguished certification of Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.
In her free time, Ally enjoys running, teaching yoga and cycling. To date she has run 6 full length marathons and dozens of half marathons. As a former competitive cyclist in the ECCC, she currently enjoys cycling near her home in Brooklyn.
She believes the role of a physical therapist is to continually seek out new information in order to develop their practice to benefit their patients.
